A vibrant pre-workout powerhouse combining natural caffeine from green tea with anti-inflammatory beetroot for endurance and stamina.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 milliliters chilled brewed green tea (unsweetened)

  • 150 milliliters cold-pressed beetroot juice

  • 150 milliliters cold water

  • 30 milliliters fresh lime juice

  • 1 teaspoons raw honey

  • 0.5 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 pinch small pinch of black pepper

STEPS

Brew & cool the green tea: Brew a strong green tea bag in 200ml of hot water for 3 minutes, then allow to cool completely in the fridge.

Combine all ingredients: Grate 0.5 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated finely. Combine the cooled green tea, 150 milliliters cold-pressed beetroot juice, 150 milliliters cold water, 30 milliliters fresh lime juice, 1 teaspoons raw honey, ginger, and 1 pinch small pinch of black pepper in a shaker or blender.

Shake it up: Shake vigorously for 20 seconds or blend briefly until well combined.

Strain & serve: Strain through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smooth drink. Serve over ice. Best consumed 20–30 minutes before training.

NOTES

Why it's great for athletes: Beetroot juice is rich in dietary nitrates, which research shows can improve oxygen efficiency and increase endurance by up to 16%. Green tea provides a smooth, crash-free caffeine hit (~30mg) alongside L-theanine for calm focus. Ginger reduces exercise-induced muscle soreness, and black pepper enhances absorption of all active compounds.
